There are many reasons why people cheat: boredom, the need for revenge, intimacy problems, feelings for somebody else, a craving for something new, and the list can go on.
Even those who swear they would never do something like this are capable of doing so. There’s a quote in a book called “The Ex-Boyfriend’s Handbook,” which says that cheating is like a cancerous cell. It’s always there, in the back of people’s minds, eating away at the foundation of the relationship.
Other people say that cheating was a one-time mistake for them and it actually helped them realize how much they actually care about their partners.
Whether that’s true or not, one thing is for sure: people are prone to cheating, and they really need a good connection with someone so they can be happy and fulfilled all the time.
We’ve talked to a few relationship experts, and we asked them if there’s something people typically have in mind prior to the cheating episode. And believe it or not, they will give their partners clues about what they’re going to do.
