9. They gossip about other people
Are you looking for a way to be sure if someone is talking negatively about you behind your back? Consider their background.
Do they spread rumors about other people? Do they divulge information to you about others’ secrets?
Don’t think that they’re friends with you and they won’t say anything bad about you to other people they talk to.
People are creatures of habit, and they typically repeat patterns. If you know that they’re not able to keep a secret, it’s very possible that they talk badly about you too.
Consider cutting ties with someone if they have a history of being cruel, gossipy, or a little bit dishonest. Nobody’s life requires that kind of energy, trust me.
