9. He’s stopped communicating with you

If your partner has stopped being as open as he used to be about his feelings, thoughts and plans, and you’ve let it pass, thinking it’s just a phase, it might turn into something normal.

Before you know it, you will know nothing about what happens in his life and eventually be excluded for good.

If you don’t try to talk things out and have an open conversation about what’s going on with him, with you as a couple, don’t be surprised when his future plans no longer include you.

His reluctance to tell about his life, even about the less important things, is a sign that he no longer sees you as someone worth spending time with.

    1. Well Tom, what is your point of view ? being a man , how can you tell you girlfriend/ wife isn’t in love with you anymore?

      1. Oh yes we do fall out of love. I had a man string me along for five years, saying that he was saving money for us to get married, and by the time I fell out of love with him and wanted to call it quits suddenly he had enough money for us to get married. But I was done with him

  1. You need say his/her instead of just blaming the guy always. I’m going through this, from her. It goes both ways.

  2. THIS ARTICLE TOTALLY DODGED THE ISSUE. The issue is not that these things happened. The issue is WHY they happened. You can’t beat the dog and still expect him to hunt.

  3. i have been in love with my wife since 1994, we stopped seeing each other in 1995 and didnt see each until 2000, she was married, i had gotten married and we both got divorced. i didnt see her again till 2007 and we resumed our relationship, we got married and have been married and in love with each other ever since….

  4. I have been married for 41 years, so I know a thing or two about marriage. We were madly in love when we first met but we lived very far apart. My husband paid $400 phone bills in the late 70’s, to keep us going. I lived in Missouri and he lived in New York. I thought we could never make it work, due to the distance. He said if I lived there, would you date just me? Two weeks later I got another call from him. He informed me he now lived in Missouri 🙂 He was persistent! Some months later, my husband said the wisest thing to me about marriage I ever heard. He sat me down and said, “No matter how bad it might get at times, divorce is not an option. Before we get married, can you agree? If so, your word must mean something, do not give it lightly.”

Countless times when I was frustrated with him or thought we had fallen out of love, I remembered… “My word must mean something.” We always found a way to work it out together and fall back in love again. When you made your vows… did your WORD mean something?
