5. You handle conflict differently
When people are not in love anymore, they tend to process conflicts and disagreements differently than before. It’s normal, some would even say healthy, for couples to fight every once in a while as people have different conflict styles.
Some fight like there’s no tomorrow one minute only to make up and swear to never fight again the next minute. Others have arguments once in a full moon, but they want to solve their problems together.
When a couple is in a functional relationship, life’s arguments are dealt with together. When they fall out of love, they also fall out of any desire or attention to handle their disagreements.
Some might avoid arguing altogether, agreeing and settling instead of speaking their minds. Others might abruptly start a fight just so they could find an excuse to leave and have some time all by themselves.
Rather than working towards fixing your relationship, your partner will minimize every complaint you might have and act like nothing’s wrong.

This was all delivered from a women’s point of view observing the moods of her male partner. Very typical.
Well Tom, what is your point of view ? being a man , how can you tell you girlfriend/ wife isn’t in love with you anymore?
So true Tom, I guess woman never fall out of love with the men in their lives
Oh yes we do fall out of love. I had a man string me along for five years, saying that he was saving money for us to get married, and by the time I fell out of love with him and wanted to call it quits suddenly he had enough money for us to get married. But I was done with him
Yes a woman can fall out of love with their significant other or any man.
You need say his/her instead of just blaming the guy always. I’m going through this, from her. It goes both ways.
THIS ARTICLE TOTALLY DODGED THE ISSUE. The issue is not that these things happened. The issue is WHY they happened. You can’t beat the dog and still expect him to hunt.
i have been in love with my wife since 1994, we stopped seeing each other in 1995 and didnt see each until 2000, she was married, i had gotten married and we both got divorced. i didnt see her again till 2007 and we resumed our relationship, we got married and have been married and in love with each other ever since….
I have been married for 41 years, so I know a thing or two about marriage. We were madly in love when we first met but we lived very far apart. My husband paid $400 phone bills in the late 70’s, to keep us going. I lived in Missouri and he lived in New York. I thought we could never make it work, due to the distance. He said if I lived there, would you date just me? Two weeks later I got another call from him. He informed me he now lived in Missouri 🙂 He was persistent! Some months later, my husband said the wisest thing to me about marriage I ever heard. He sat me down and said, “No matter how bad it might get at times, divorce is not an option. Before we get married, can you agree? If so, your word must mean something, do not give it lightly.”
Countless times when I was frustrated with him or thought we had fallen out of love, I remembered… “My word must mean something.” We always found a way to work it out together and fall back in love again. When you made your vows… did your WORD mean something?
always try to keep a clear mind, and continue to practice humility!
