5. Selective hearing
…For some women, this is the worst of them all!
When there’s something they don’t like or they’re simply not in the mood for whatever their partners might be talking about, men tend to have something called selective hearing. This means that they pick and listen to just what they want. It’s not the best of their habits, and women get annoyed pretty fast when something like this happens.
When you’re in a serious relationship and your partner is a priority, both parties should be trying to actively listen to each other and make an effort to really understand what they’re trying to say. When a man chooses what they hear and listen to, they are more likely to miss some important information, and they will later blame their partner by saying something like “You’ve never told me that.”
…PS: Something like this happens via texts as well, when women send them a lot of messages but they don’t reply to all of them!
